Like most musicians growing up in a very musical family, Andre discovered the piano in his childhood years. At age 12 he began playing by ear and the instrument quickly became a place of refuge. The piano was like a musical journal - a place to express his feelings through creative sounds and musical experimentation.

After coming to faith in his adult years, Andre found the piano to be a wonderful way to experience the presence of God both individually and corporately. In the early 1980's he began to get involved in local churches leading worship, as well as starting a Christian band. At the same time, out of his passion for the instrument, he began an apprenticeship in tuning and repairing pianos in Montreal. He continued leading worship as well as mentoring other musicians throughout the later part of 1980's but began to focus seriously upon his own solo compositions as well.
In the following years Andre was touched by the Christian renewal that originally broke out in 1994 in eastern Canada and the rest of the world. These years proved to be a pivotal time for Andre as a worship musician, as it was then that he began to more fully experience revelatory giftings in worship. As well, the Lord breathed on a vision to see a renaissance of the arts come to and through the Church - a vision which Andre carries to this day.

Another pivotal point in Andre's musical journey came in 1996 when he moved across the country from Quebec to British Columbia in order to join the Pacific Worship School. Although the school ended up being cancelled, Andre felt led to stay in B.C. and get involved at New Life Vineyard in Kelowna, which had a strong emphasis on the arts.
In 2000, Andre released his first solo album titled Heartland Diaries, which received much positive feedback, in particular for its ability to open the door for emotional healing.
Heartland Diaries was followed by a contrasting CD called Patmos which was originally destined for Mike Bickle's prayers from the book of Revelation (Bride's Anthem). Several people have noted this album as facilitating visions from heaven and having experiences of the throne room of God.
Since that time Andre has released two more albums: Quietude (2003) and Silence (2005). Both albums carry a strong presence of the Lord's peace and have been played around the world to facilitate soaking in God's presence, be it in homes, churches, small groups and even in schools.
Inspired by the ministry of the Holy Spirit to further touch hearts through "soaking music", in the spring of 2003 Andre began an online ministry which provides free soaking music to the Body of Christ as well as inspirational and prophetic words: Soaking.Net
The site, which has now reached over 160 nations, offers free listening to music from over 60 anointed Christian artists (both instrumental and vocal), including some of his own. The site is being prayer-birthed into a new dimension of global networking as God leads and as resources become available.
The site now incorporates several other forms of inspired artwork (including his own graphics), as well as further devotional material and a "prayer room."
Like his music, Andre's graphic design carries a prophetic anointing that speaks of spiritual element within the artwork. Although he provides many graphic services, as a musician, he particularly enjoys working with other musicians and authors in creating covers for their albums or books.
