Instrumental music moves the human spirit in rich and powerful ways. It is a language that pours out like a heartfelt prayer. I love improvisation, it is such a conversational natural flow of expression, can also be raw painting of a state of mind, a memory, or a worldview.

These instrumental improvisations and spontaneous 'songs' invite us to pause and consider the flow of time around and inside. Dialogue with the heart in a womb of kindness, the virtue of silence tracing the contours of the present moment ... it changes us...

Music is a revealer of inner worlds, and can be a safe embrace for the broken-hearted. Sometimes it will stream out of us and rise up like the incense of a prayer against formless darkness. Sometime we dance amongst its chords of light reaching out to embrace us, saying "you are not alone."
